Olivia Jackson creates powerful collages that distill vivid images; often from her own life and family. Her collages are a synthesis of found papers and digital enhancements.Once created she scans the image and uses the computer to alter and enhance colors and textures without changing the central figures. In recent years, Jackson uses the giclee printing process and handmade papers from Africa, Japan, Mexico, Napal and Thailand for her final canvasses.
