About five years ago, I had an unexpected opportunity to explore a long held desire to express myself through the art of painting. I began classes at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Brooklyn Museum. My choice of Water Color was inspired over many years of collecting the works of artists who work in the medium. What attracts me is the free-flowing power of the paint, allowing for expressions that may go beyond what I may have envisioned; providing transparency or depth.
