Beranbaum, Nancy Coates

Nancy Coates Beranbaum has lived and worked as an artist in Brooklyn for 25 years. Her interest in plant forms and movement have been a consistent framework for her exploration of shifting colors and silhouetted shapes. Working on paper, canvas, and wood panels, she uses pastel, gouache, and oils with colors that range from subdued to organic to brightly candy-colored.
