AJA

AJA (Adisa Jelani Andwele) is an internationally known performance poet, based in Brooklyn, New York. He has taken performance poetry to the international World Music, Jazz, and Poetry Festivals stages; and his works have been internationally published.

AJA’s work focuses on global issues and a feature of his presentations is the intensity on stage. His work is captivating with heart-wrenching imagery that is engaging and described as “edutainment.”
